Yesterday…

many churches paused to reflect for Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. If you are not from a tradition that observes the church liturgical calendar, we encourage you to discover the richness and depth that it brings and the ways it can shape our yearly rhythms. Ash Wednesday reminds us of our fragile humanity and our need for a Saviour: “Remember you are dust and to dust you will return.”

Lectio 365 is an app developed by 24-7 Prayer International, the community that GOHOP is part of. This year for Lent, we are exploring the teaching of the Desert Fathers and Mothers, including daily reflections and weekly videos. Please join us in this journey of reflection, meditation and surrender as we move toward Easter. You will be blessed.

the TrueCity Conference starts tomorrow - Friday, February 20! Our theme this year is Unexpected Jesus - Awakening to Hope. It’s not too late to register. Join fellow Christians from dozens of churches as we worship, learn and celebrate together.

On Saturday, following the conference, the TrueCity Prayer Room will open. GOHOP is happy to be hosting again this year and we are ready to welcome you! We have created several interactive prayer stations to help us continue to meet Jesus in unexpected and hope-filled ways.
