Dear Subscriber First Name, This is a quick note to bring you up to date on our 25th Anniversary Celebrations and to highlight a few other upcoming GOHOP activities. 25th Anniversary - Beginning, Building, Becoming The Spaghetti Supper is SOLD OUT, but there are other great opportunities to celebrate with us on October 17. Stop by the GOHOP Prayer Room (1907 King St E) from 12 to 5 pm to engage with interactive prayer stations based on Jill Weber’s book Even the Sparrow. Global Week of Prayer - Declare the Name of Jesus A couple of weeks ago, we joined with 2,310 prayer communities in more than half of the countries of the world to Declare the Name of Jesus. First Love - GOHOP Course We are excited to announce a new GOHOP Course. First Love is a 6-week course that will run on Monday evenings from November 9 to December 14. In it, we will reflect on God’s relentless love for us and explore the call to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Click here to learn more and to register. PJaM - Retreat for Young Adults November 21 and 22 we are hosting a 2-day retreat for college/university students and young adults. It is an experiential learning opportunity to explore Prayer, Justice and Mission including time in the prayer room, opportunities for service, an afternoon of silence, group spiritual direction and worship in a tradition unlike your own.
